The truth under the mask is much darker than she likes to admit. For those who can see aether, Croa's can seem rather confusing. Soft, yet strong. Cold, but warm. A constant storm, a never ending battle, an overwhelming feeling of never being able to reach an answer, while it being at the tip of one's tongue. A dark blue mixed with white lights and fine ribbons is the best way to describe her aether.

used as a puppet, the garlean empire had Croa attend multiple banquet, balls, events, where they would flaunt and brag about their new creation. On the darker side, she was sent on multiple secret missions, doing their dirty work in the shadows. Mayhaps you met with the higher society, or down in the sewers.. Maybe you were even a potential target ?..

▍ ❝   HOLY CITY HEALER.
as she escaped garlemald, croa took refuge in ishgard, managing to obtain a small room in the attics of the church in exchange for her help with healing soldiers or sick citizens. Helping out with cleaning and prayers to get on the good side of the ishgardians, you may have required to her aid, or saw her tend to chores in the church.

▍ ❝   FLESH EATER, BLOOD DRINKER
years of killing change a woman. her captors had to resort to spiteful practices to submit croa to merciless killing. the taste of blood and flesh isn't something that an animal can let go so easily.. Frequenting dark markets more than she should, croa has to feed on.. ''harder to get'' type of meat and drinks in order to not lose her mind or feel any types of withdrawals. Maybe she met you in one of those market, or maybe you're one of her suppliers ?

Seen as a beast by her captors, she was given a title, earned in blood, referencing a proud, fierce and deadly creature. apex predator, the white lion, here symbolising purity, innocence, but also transformation and rebirth.

creator of creatures, circe was known to give life to beasts that thrived on bloodshed, making her almost a celebrity within the Pandemonium, as most of her creations were seen as unstable and dangerous. Over the years she managed more stable ones, to which she became maternal towards.

her biggest fear ? being forgotten, or forgetting. the forget-me-not is a symbol of remembrance, loyalty and faithfulness, hence, it is a very important and symbolic flower for Croa, representing her most important values and beliefs.

▍ ❝  COZY MEALS
Not exactly into cooking often, Croa is still surprisingly very good at it. Thanks to her phytokinesis powers, she likes growing her own vegetables and herbs, giving her meals a very fresh taste. She prefers hot meals as well, and is very good with seasoning meat and cooking it. You will not catch her behind the stoves often, but when you do, you are in for a good time. Also, do not ask her to make anything different than the three meals she will be making on repeat. She's on a rotation every few months.

▍ ❝  SCALE CARE
Croa regularly takes care of her scales, due to her dna alterations, they tend to spread and overgrow on her skin, so she has to carve them back in proper shapes for them to not take over her whole body. She enjoys changing the shapes of them over the years, sometimes letting them take over more than usual. They take a few months to grow back, so she has had multiple attempts to try more elaborate designs with her scales. She currently enjoy carving them into flowers.

▍ ❝  BLINDFOLDED
When she started healing, her senses reminding her of the blood and flesh in front of her would make her lose her control. She eventually discovered that blinding herself would help with such issues, as she could easily be guided by her sense of smell and using her aether to heal didn't require for her to touch the wounds themselves. She has gained self control over the years, but now blindfolds herself in habit and for comfort. The pressure over her eyes help her focus.

▍ ❝   STEALTH 100
An absolute lie. She never had to learn stealth, or could use very little of it back in her old life, so stealth isn't.. exactly her strong suit. She hates hiding especially if she knows she's stronger than her opponent. She has very little patience, especially if she has to be totally silent for a long amount of time, considering her tail and long ears, it's always been quite hard for her to not bump on things or knock things down. Not that she's especially clumsy.. She just doesn't want to deal with that.

▍ ❝  GREY HEALERFor years, Croa's healing wasn't out of pure kindness. Guilt weights her mind, and healing the injured is the only way she found proper enough to be considered a payment back for all the lives she took in forced battle. Being self-focused outside of her guilt was a simple product of her survival during her time in captivity. The path she walked with her mentor is the one who taught her altruism. It is a slow process, as the memory of her late mentor fuels her motivation to be a better person, transforming her guilt into a need to honour her dead mentor.

▍ ❝  ANIMALISTIC FEATURESCreated from the Project Chimera, Croa's physical appearance is heavily influenced by the mix of DNA she was experimented on with. Some of them are simply used to stabilise her physical changes or psychological ones, while others were used on purpose in order to render her a better soldier. Dragon DNA was used to increase her lifespan, while lion DNA was used to influence her hunting drive and feeding habits; the latter led her to being able to eat less often than her kin. Goat DNA was used to improve her vision, making her able to control her field of vision by deforming her pupils.
